Against All Odds: Asian Cup fixture to be low-scoring

Don't expect a flood of goals in this one

Tuesday's Against All Odds actually takes place on Wednesday morning as Paul Robinson thinks that the early kick off between North Korea and Saudi Arabia will be a tight affair.

North Korea v Saudi Arabia
Wednesday January 14, 07:00 GMT

This is an Asian Cup fixture and one that both teams could do with winning as the pair of them lost their opening group fixture 1-0. The top two qualify for the knockout phase so defeat would spell the end of their chances in all likelihood.

The angle for this selection is the goal one as neither team looked like they'd be prolific during their first match. North Korea mustered only three shots on target against Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia could only match that total against China.

Defensively both outfits are fairly sound and well organised with Korea conceding more than once on only occasion during their last seven outings, and while Saudi Arabia have let in more, they did manage to keep clean sheets against Bahrain and Yemen back in November.

This will be a pretty drab encounter by all accounts, so with over 1.5 goals trading at around the 1.748/11 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
