Liverpool remain around the 13.012/1 market to win this season's Europa League after securing a narrow 1-0 victory away to Hearts this evening.

Brendan Rodgers made a plethora of changes prior to kick-off, leaving out the likes of Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez, whilst Andy Carroll was sidelined with an injury.

In an entertaining first half neither side could break the deadlock and the teams went into the interval level, the 0-0 HT Score being matched at 3.211/5.

For much of the second half it looked like there would be no winner, a result that would arguably suit both clubs, but with just over 10 minutes to go a fiercely whipped in Martin Kelly cross was deflected into his own net by Hearts defender Andy Webster.

Hearts twice came close to a late equaliser but the Reds held on for victory, the 0-1 Correct Score being matched at 7.613/2. Liverpool were matched at a high of 3.613/5 In-Play seconds before they took the lead.

In the earlier game Newcastle were held to a 1-1 draw in Athens against Greek outfit Atromitos.

The home side took a surprise lead midway through the first half when Denis Epstein latched onto a cross, cut inside Newcastle defender James Tavernier, and fired past Steve Harper. Epstein was matched at 17.5n/a in the First Goalscorer market.

As the first 45 minutes drew to a conclusion over 1,000 was matched at the minimum odds of 1.011/100 on the 1-0 Half Time Score, but Ryan Taylor - much to the delight of one punter who backed HT 1-1 at 200.0199/1 - fired a stunning 25-yard free-kick into the top corner.

Taylor was backed at a high of 9.08/1 in the To Score market prior to kick-off.

Atromitos could have won the game late on but there were no further goals. The Draw watch matched at 4.94/1, whilst the 1-1 Correct Score hit just 7.26/1. Newcastle are available to back at just 1.152/13 To Qualify from the tie when the two sides meet next week.
