Against All Odds: Goals expected at Villa Park

It's a rare visit to the Premier League for Against All Odds today as Aston Villa take on Everton at Villa Park. Under 2.5 Goals is quite long odds-on and Paul Robinson believes there is some serious value to be had by laying at that price.
Helmond Sport twice came from behind en route to a 5-2 win over yesterday's lay and that took us to three winners out of the last four.
Aston Villa endured a disappointing start to their campaign at Upton Park, losing 1-0 and rarely threatening the Hammers' goal. The Villa faithful had been hopeful of a change in fortunes under new boss, Paul Lambert, especially in front of goal as Norwich scored 52 times under his management last season, compared to Villa's 37 with Alex McLeish at the helm.
I think it's too soon to write them off though as pre-season results were promising; 12 goals in seven games, and that was with star striker, Darren Bent, missing most of them. Bent was too isolated against West Ham, but Allardyce's side packed the midfield that day and stopped Charles N'Zogbia and co from pushing on. Things should be different this afternoon as Everton will likely play four in midfield and with it being at Villa Park, the onus will be on Lambert's men to push forward and attack.
Everton couldn't have wished for a better start to their season, first they somehow managed to get Manchester City to pay an eight figure sum for Jack Rodwell and then they beat the other Manchester club at Goodison Park.
David Moyes looks like he's put together a team with a little more quality than usual this year and I can see them challenging for a top six place or better, as the Scot actually has options up front for a change. Nikica Jelavic, Steven Naismith and new boy Kevin Mirallas are all exciting prospects and with the likes of Steven Pienaar and Marouane Fellaini pushing on midfield, I can see plenty of goals in them this season.
Three of the last five results between these pair have been 2-2 draws and I have a feeling that we will get another high scoring game from them today. The market seems to have overreacted to Villa's listless performance against West Ham, but I think we will see a completely different side this afternoon, so with Under 2.5 Goals trading around the 1.784/5 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.

Recommended Bet
Lay Under 2.5 Goals in Aston Villa v Everton @ 1.784/5
