Follow The Money: Harris and Repeater attracting the cash

William Haggis' Harris Tweed has been the subject of support today

Today's three Follow The Money selections can be found at Goodwood and Newmarket...

We start with the negative of the day in the 13.45 at Newmarket. The horse in question is Richard Hannon's two year old Mutazamen, who has drifted from an early 2.19n/a out to 3.55n/a. The colt was not fancied on debut with a BSP of 29.90 but ran well, trying to make all but eventually being beaten by two lengths. Todays he drops down in trip to six furlongs and although that should not be a problem its worth noting on his last Newmarket run he did stay on over the seven furlongs, so the drop in trip might not be in his favour.

We stay at Newmarket for the 14.50 for the next mover. Sir Mark Prescotts Repeater has been backed from 7.21n/a into 4.67/2. The three year old has only had the two runs this season and was an eye catcher last time out at Ascot where he stayed on well over a mile and half. The step up in trip today looks sure to suit and with the stable in such good form at present everything looks perfect for a big run today.

Finally we are at Goodwood for the 16.30 and in particular the move for Harris Tweed who has been well supported into 2.568/5 from 2.9015/8. William Haggis's classy gelding was a disappointment last time out but previous to that had been very consistent. He takes a big step down in class today and also take into account the fact that race contains no obvious front runner, the five year old should be able dictate today and on course that suits front running types should be hard to peg back.

Recommended Bets:

Lay Mutazamen @ 3.55n/a Newmarket 13.45

Back Repeater @ 4.67/2 Newmarket 14.50

Back Harris Tweed @ 2.568/5 Goodwood 16:30
