Further celebrations should be in store for Dinamo Kiev tonight
It's that time of the week for the big Wednesday multiple as Paul Robinson selects a home win, an away win, a match to go over 2.5 goals and a match to go under 2.5 goals. Here are his selections...
Bet 1: Dinamo Kiev (HOME) @ 1.834/5
We kick off our multi with a trip to the Ukraine for the second leg of the Play-off Round in the Champions League between Dinamo Kiev and Borussia Mnchengladbach. Kiev look set to go through after winning the match in Germany by a 1-3 scoreline and I expect them to get the job done pretty comfortably this evening.
Yuri Syomin's men have a rich pedigree in Europe and while they haven't quite been hitting the dizzy heights they achieved when Andriy Shevchenko and Sergei Rebrov were leading the line, they usually fare quite well in whichever European competition they end up in.
Borussia M'Gladbach are Champions League debutants and while they did take the lead in the first leg, the class and experience of the Ukrainians told in the end and given that they've won just two of their last five competitive away games, I can't see anything other than a loss tonight.
Bet 2: Dundee (AWAY) @ 1.574/7
It's the Scottish League Cup now as SPL's Dundee travel to Third Division, Queen's Park. Dundee haven't exactly been tearing it up in the Premier League since their promotion this season, in fact they have just a single point from their opening four games, however they should have more than enough about them to outclass Queen's Park.
Barry Smith's men picked up a decent amount of points on the road in Division One last year and while they did get hammered by fierce rivals Dundee United in their last away game to date, The Dee managed to hold Kilmarnock to a 0-0 draw on the opening day.
Queen's Park are fifth in the Third Division with four points from a possible nine but it's now five matches without a win at home for them, suffering three defeats and conceding 14 goals in the process.
Bet 3: JIPPO v FC Viikingit (Over 2.5 goals) @ 1.758/11
We go to Finland in search of goals and both JIPPO and FC Viikingit are usually good for them. JIPPO's fixtures have been averaging exactly three goals each time so far this campaign, with five of their last seven at home going over 2.5, and Viikingit's have been averaging 2.76. with five of their last seven away going over 2.5.
These two sides don't really have much to play for now as RoPS are too far ahead at the top for Viikingit to catch them and the bottom two clubs are too far adrift for JIPPO to get sucked into a relegation battle. It's all about pride and finishing as high up the table as possible now, so with the pressure off, the goals could well flow.
Bet 4: Portuguesa SP v Palmeiras (Under 2.5 goals) @ 1.68/13
We conclude our multiple with a late night trip to Brazil as Portuguesa SP take on Palmeiras in Serie A.
Portuguesa are 14th in the table after picking up 22 points from their 19 fixtures to date. We're more interested in their goal stats though and they are currently second bottom in the goals to games average, with their matches averaging just two per 90 minutes. Eight of their last nine at home have gone under 2.5, and they only conceded more than one on one occasion during that period.
Palmeiras are in 17th with 16 points from their 19 fixtures and they currently occupy the last relegation place. The problem for them has been scoring as with just 18 goals netted so far, they have one of the worst offensive records in the division. They're pretty solid at the back though, having the ninth best defensive record in the league.
