Match Odds: Chile 1.111/9, Haiti 38.037/1, The Draw 12.011/1

Chile's prospects of building on the delightful impression that they made at the World Cup were boosted significantly by persuading coach Jorge Sampaoli to stick around for another four years, and they should field a tasty team in Florida, with their defence and attack at close to full strength.

However, the same squad were held to a goalless draw by Mexico a few days ago. Haiti, though less active and short on internationally-recognised names, are pretty good at stifling superior opposition, drawing with Italy and losing only 1-2 to Spain in 2013. They haven't been beaten by a margin wider than three goals since 2010, and were conquered 0-3 by Chile last January.

Recommended Bet: Back under 3.5 goals @ 1.834/5

Brazil v Ecuador

Match Odds: Brazil 1.511/2, Ecuador 7.87/1, The Draw 4.67/2

Brazil's decision to reappoint Dunga following their World Cup humiliation was both a surprise and divisive. The former captain is perceived to favour functionality to flair, yet that arguably makes him the perfect fit at a time when authority, organisation and belief are the qualities required most.

The Selecao kept a clean sheet in his first game back in charge - a 1-0 friendly victory over Colombia secured by a late moment of mastery from new skipper Neymar - just as they closed his first stint with seven shutouts in 11 encounters. Ecuador fired blanks in two of the past three meetings with Brazil that they didn't host, so that appears an attractive bet for this New York showdown.

Recommended Bet: Back Brazil to keep a clean sheet @ 2.1411/10

Bolivia v Mexico

Match Odds: Bolivia 14.013/1, Mexico 1.321/3, The Draw 5.59/2

Like Chile, Mexico had the great fortune of retaining their coach who grew an enormous fanbase at the World Cup - Miguel Herrera - and their recent 0-0 draw with the Marcelo Bielsa disciples was a promising sign that his squad won't go down as one-summer wonders.

One thing that does usually go down when Mexico are in action is under 2.5 goals, with five of their last seven fixtures serving up two goals or fewer. With Bolivia producing the same in three of their previous five outings, that looks a sound punting strategy for this Colorado collision.

Recommended Bet: Back under 2.5 goals @ 1.981/1
