Chelsea are the Premier League's form team
Andrew Hughes thinks Chelsea can hold the Premier League champions to a draw and help to land another cross-sport multiple in the process.
Bet 1: Back Man City to draw with Chelsea at 3.412/5
Manchester City's recent run doesn't represent a crisis, but two defeats and a draw in their last three is not the ideal form to be taking into a game against the team that currently represents their biggest Premier League rivals.
Chelsea have made the perfect start to their campaign, with four wins out of four and whereas last year they ground out results on the back of solid all-round defensive displays, this time round they are a lot easier on the eye, thanks to the creativity of Cesc Fabregas and the dynamic forward play of Diego Costa.
Chelsea did the double over City last season and Jose Mourinho is adept at getting results against tough opponents away from home. A draw would maintain Chelsea's healthy five point lead over the defending champions and is the safest bet.
Bet 2: Back Kolkata to beat Lahore at 1.51/2
Lahore Lions pulled off a shock in their opening Champions League Twenty20 game, beating Mumbai Indians, and will relish the chance to upset another IPL team on Sunday, but I'm backing Kolkata Knight Riders to come out on top.
Lahore caught Mumbai cold in their opening qualifying game, but they followed that up by losing to New Zealand side Northern Districts. They have world class batting talent in the shape of Mohammed Hafeez and Umar Akmal, but they are over-reliant on their two stars and that makes them vulnerable.
Kolkata lost early wickets in their opening game, but showed their strength in depth by recovering to beat Chennai thanks to a blistering half-century from Andre Russell, and they have the stronger batting line-up. Back the IPL champions for victory.
Bet 3: Back Nico Rosberg to win the Singapore GP at 3.55/2
The twisting circuit at Singapore may enable some of the other teams to get closer to Mercedes, but such is the power advantage that Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have over the other drivers, it is hard to see anything other than a Mercedes victory.
But which driver to go for? All things being equal, Hamilton is the faster of the two, but Rosberg has managed to find ways to tip things in his favour all season. He still leads the Drivers' Championship, and if it weren't for his error at the chicane in Monza, his lead would be even bigger.
This is not a straightforward track at which Hamilton will be able to power away from the field and I think Rosberg has the resilience to bounce back from his Italian disappointment and extend his lead over his team-mate.
