Nigel Pearson's Leicester produced a stunning comeback
Mike Norman brings us today's In-Play odds round-up from the Premier League including a stunning comeback by Leicester that traded at a huge price in the Match Odds market...
Leicester City came from two goals down to beat Manchester United 5-3 at the King Power Stadium this afternoon, rewarding those who backed the home side at the massive price of 320.0319/1 In-Play.
United looked to continue where they left off last weekend when they beat QPR 4-0, and they were soon two goals ahead against the Foxes thanks to goals from Robin van Persie and Angel Di Maria.
Van Persie's first goal of the season came from an angled header after some excellent work from Radamel Falcao, but arguably the goal of the game came from the foot of Di Maria just minutes later.
The 60m record signing started the move that saw him surge forward with the ball before exchanging passing with Wayne Rooney, and with defenders closing in on him he brilliantly lifted the ball over the head of Kasper Schmeichel and into the back of the net.
But United's two-goal lead lasted no longer than a minute because just like they've done a few times already this season after conceding, Nigel Pearson's men immediately scored a goal of their own - Leonardo Ulloa planting a header home after a superb right-wing cross from Jamie Vardy.
RVP was matched at 6.86/1 in the First Goalscorer market, while the 1-2 Half Time Score was matched at 28.027/1.
Louis van Gaal's men looked in determined fashion early in the second half and soon had a cushion again following a neat finish from Ander Herrera who flicked Di Maria's cross-goal shot into the back of the net.
But the game turned in Leicester's favour after a highly controversial penalty was awarded to the home side just after the hour mark.
After seemingly barging Rafael over himself, Vardy then fell to the ground when the United right-back tried to get back into position, resulting in referee Mark Clattenburg pointing to the spot. David Nugent converted.
And just minutes later the Foxes were level when Esteban Cambiasso raced onto a loose ball in the box and drilled home a low shot past David de Gea. Cambiasso was matched at 14.013/1 To Score at anytime.
With United rocking, the home side went in search of the winner and with just over 10 minutes to go Vardy raced clear of the defence and cooly slotted the ball home, sending the Leicester faithful into dreamland.
United tried to get back into the game but with men forward they were caught out once more at the back, Tyler Blackett the culprit as he felled Vardy in the box and received his marching orders. Ulloa scored from the spot, his second and Leicester's fifth of the game.
Leicester were matched at a massive 320.0319/1 to win the game In-Play, while United traded at a low of 1.031/33. Over 7.5 Goals was another big-price winner at 110.0109/1, and those who backed Man Utd HT/Leicester FT were rewarded at odds of 95.094/1.
Elsewhere today the spoils were shared between title favourites Chelsea and Manchester City, while both West Brom and Crystal Palace both recorded their first wins of the season over Tottenham and Everton respectively.
Andre Schurrle was matched at 48.047/1 to score the first goal of the game as he gave Chelsea the lead at the Etihad Stadium, but Blues legend Frank Lampard, making his home debut for City against his former club, scored a dramatic equaliser late in the game.
The Draw was matched at 8.88/1 In-Play, while the 1-1 Correct Score was matched at a high of 27.026/1.
At Goodison Park Palace were matched at 29.028/1 to take all three points with the 2-3 score being matched at the very rewarding odds of 120.0119/1, while at White Hart Lane a Baggies victory was matched at 8.615/2.
After today's fixtures Chelsea remain the 1.738/11 favourites to win the Premier League with Man City next best at [4.3n/a. Arsenal can be backed at 11.010/1 and Man Utd at 15.5n/a.
