ВЈ75m Suarez sale agreed between Liverpool and Barcelona

Farewell Luis

Barcelona will be Luis Suarez's next club following a mega-money deal between the Primera Division giants and Liverpool ...

A deal has been agreed between Liverpool and Barcelona over the sale of Luis Suarez.

The Spanish club will pay the Premier League runners-up 75m for the services of the controversial striker who scored 31 goals in the top-flight last season.

Currently suspended from football until October after a bite on Giorgio Chiellini at the  World Cup, the Uruguayan will sign up to a five-year deal at the Nou Camp.

When he is able to return to first team action, Barca will boast a forward line of Neymar-Messi-Suarez. The Catalan club are 2.1411/10 to win the Primera Division with Real Madrid currently 2.0421/20 and champions Atletico 12.5n/a.

Shorn of their star man, Liverpool have taken a long walk in the Premier League winner market and currently trade at 12.011/1, having opened at a low of 3.55/2. There is a clear gap between the Anfield club and fourth favourites Arsenal, who trade at 8.88/1, in a market headed by 3.02/1 Chelsea and 3.259/4 Manchester City. Manchester United are 6.86/1 to win the league next season.

Liverpool have been busy in the transfer market already this summer with Southampton pair Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert joining, alongside Emre Can who arrived from Bayer Leverkusen. The club, who still retain England striker Daniel Sturridge, are rumoured to be interested in Benfica's Lazar Markovic or Swansea's Wilfried Bony to strengthen their now weakened forward line.

Suraez was backed at a high of 2.186/5 to leave Liverpool this summer, and 4.03/1 to join Barcelona.
