Leicester City have triggered Fraizer Campbell's release clause at Cardiff with an 800,000 offer as they look to strengthen their newly promoted squad, according to reports from The Mail Online.

The Express and Star is reporting that Paul Lambert is on the verge of signing Fulham defender Philippe Senderos, who is available on a free transfer after returning from a loan spell with Valencia. The 29-year-old made 68 appearances for the Cottagers over a four-year spell but is seen as surplus to requirements by boss Felix Magath.

Sunderland's Jack Colback is another player available on a free transfer and he has attracted interest from Aston Villa, Newcastle and West Ham. The trio will do battle for his services according to the Express and Star.

Sky Sports have confirmed that David Villa will join Melbourne City on loan in October and will play for them until December. The former Barcelona man agreed a move to new MLS franchise New York City FC earlier in the week but he is set for a spell with their sister club in Australia.

West Ham have emerged as the front runners to swoop for out-of-contract Manchester City goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon, who is available on a free transfer, according to reports from Sport in a Storm. The 27-year-old has also caught the eye of Arsenal and Sunderland and is expected to be the centre of a bidding war.

Liverpool are closing in on their second signing of the summer, with reports from ITV Sport confirming that Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can has agreed a deal in principle and will join for a fee of 9.75million.

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has confirmed that team mate Cesc Fabregas will be leaving the Nou Camp this summer. Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United are the expected potential destinations for the Spain international. Pique told Goal.com: "He told me it's done. He's off, €33m he said to me." 

The London Evening Standard have suggested that Tottenham have slapped a 15million price tag on midfielder Sandro, who has attracted interest from a number of top clubs around Europe. Serie A outfit Napoli are leading the way but it is understood that they will not part with more than 9million.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke is on the radar of Barcelona, according to Football365. The 22-year-old is seen as a replacement for the outgoing Cesc Fabregas but it is understood that Los Rojiblancos will not allow him to leave without a fight.
