HJK Helsinki are a cut above in Finland
It's that time of the week where Paul Robinson selects a home win, an away win, a match to go over 2.5 goals and a match to go under 2.5 goals. Here are his selections...
Bet 1: Sport Recife (HOME) @ 2.25 (5/4)
We begin in Brazil as newly promoted Sport Recife look like decent value to beat the out of sorts Bahia in the Campeonato.
Sport Recife have made a solid start to life in the top flight following their third place finish in Serie B last season. After eight games they have picked up 11 points, and if they win tonight, they'll move in to the top half of the table.
Eduardo Baptista's side come into this match on the back of a solid 0-0 draw at home to Gremio and a fantastic 1-0 away victory at Vitoria BA. They will be full of confidence for tonight's fixture and will be hopeful of making it two wins from four home games this term.
Bahia had made a relatively decent start to their season as after losing their opener to the defending champions, Cruzeiro, they then went on to beat both Figueirense and Botafogo, before earning draws against Vitoria and Flamengo.
Marquinhos Santos' men have since gone on to lose their next three though - two at home and one away. They managed just one goal during that period and they are at a low ebb right now, down in 15th place in the division.
Bet 2: HJK Helsinki (AWAY) @ 2.05 (21/20)
Our away victory comes from Finland as reigning champions, HJK Helsinki, can't be left un-backed at odds-against for their afternoon kick off at FC Inter Turku.
HJK Helsinki are already top of the table before even a third of the season has been completed. They sit in first place, one point clear of their nearest challengers, with a game in hand. They won the league last year by eight points - with today's opponents 33 points behind them in ninth.
Manager, Mika Lehkosuo, will be keen for his team to extend their lead at the top to four points and they couldn't be in better form as they've won their last five matches - scoring nine goals and conceding none. They will also be boosted by the fact that they won a League Cup tie on this ground back in March.
Inter Turku are in eighth place and they actually come into this match on a five game unbeaten streak. All of them were draws though and I'm not confident about them extending that record against the best team in the country.
The 'Black and Blues' don't score many goals and while they defend very well, they are sure to be battered by the HJK attack who will no doubt leave them bruised.
Bet 3: Netherlands v Wales (Over 2.5 goals) @ 1.7 (7/10) - Live on BBC 2 Wales at 19:30 BST
Our goal-fest comes from Amsterdam as hosts the Netherlands will be keen to rack up a few goals at the expense of a depleted Wales as they continue their World Cup preparations.
Holland are generally un-fancied for the competition that they finished runners-up in four years ago. While they have a whole host of talent, their players aren't getting any younger and can never really be trusted to perform.
Louis van Gaal's side should have more than enough for Wales tonight though and although their last four friendlies have gone under 2.5 goals, I can see them netting at least three themselves in this one. The main reason for that is that in qualifying when they had something to play for, they were very free-scoring, and this match isn't an ordinary friendly as it's part of their World Cup build-up.
Wales have a very talented squad for a side that haven't made it to a major championship in years. They are without their two main men for this one though as both Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey won't be featuring.
While that may reduce the goal-threat for Chris Coleman's troops, it will also affect their ability to retain possession and take the pressure off the defence. That could lead to them being penned in for most of the game and I can't really see how their defence will hold firm.
Bet 4: Ecuador v England (Under 2.5 goals) @ 1.61 (8/13) - Live on ITV 1 at 20:00 BST
We conclude in sunny Florida as Ecuador and England square-off in a friendly that looks set to be low-scoring.
England have flown out to Miami to begin the acclimatisation process for Brazil's World Cup. They've only been there a few days and I don't really envisage them charging round the pitch this evening.
Roy Hodgson is going to give a few of his fringe players a chance to impress following his first choice side's 3-0 victory over Peru on Friday, but with an out-of sorts, Wayne Rooney, leading the line, the team doesn't exactly look full of goals.
Ecuador are also heading to Brazil and while they'll be used to the heat given that they're a South American nation, I can't see them going at full pelt tonight.
Reinaldo Rueda's men have already played a couple of friendlies in the last month - a 1-1 draw with Holland and a 3-1 defeat against Mexico. With four goals conceded during those two matches, I'm sure the manager will be trying to tighten things up before their opening World Cup game against Switzerland in 11 days time.
