French Open Women's Betting: Bouchard to extend her winning streak

Bouchard looking to maintain her momentum... Bouchard looking to maintain her momentum...

We're now entering the fourth round in Paris, and Abelson Info preview Sunday's clashes in the French capital...

The draw for the fourth round isn't exactly what many would have expected, with the likes of Serena Williams, Dominika Cibulkova and Agnieszka Radwanska all watching proceedings from home.

As a result, it has really opened up for seventh seed Maria Sharapova to take advantage, but ultimately the Russian star will have her hands full in her next match when she faces Sam Stosur.

Sharapova has become much more comfortable on this surface in recent years, and she dominated last time out without even losing a single game to Paula Ormaechea. However, while her own form is something to consider, Stosur has been equally as impressive.

The Australian ace has yet to drop a set in the tournament and dispatched of ninth seed Cibulkova just two days ago, and as a result in terms of star quality, she has now set herself up in arguably the pick of the round.

Nevertheless, it is difficult to ignore the level of dominance that Sharapova has enjoyed over her rival, as she leads their head-to-head record 13-2, winning the last three meetings between the pair.

In addition, the last victory came as recently as Madrid earlier this month on clay, and as a result, Sharapova will undoubtedly be confident of prevailing but it wouldn't be surprising if Stosur makes this interesting.

Elsewhere, clay specialist Carla Suarez Navarro is enjoying her stay in Paris so far, and as she prepares to face the unseeded Ajla Tomljanovic, the Spaniard is rightly considered a strong favourite to clinch her place in the next round.

The same could also be said for compatriot Garbine Muguruza, with the youngster building on her win over Williams with another dominant display against Anna Schmiedlova.

She now takes on Pauline Parmentier who will have the backing of the Parisian faithful, but ultimately every match thus far has been a struggle for her and Muguruza will look to take full advantage of any possible fatigue to secure her place in the next round.

Meanwhile, the last remaining fourth round tie on Sunday is particularly intriguing, as although Angelique Kerber has a superior world ranking over her next opponent and has previously beaten her, there is no ruling out Eugenie Bouchard at this stage.

The young Canadian starlet has followed up on her first WTA title last week with an impressive showing in Paris so far, and while this will be her biggest test as of yet, there is no reason to suggest that she isn't capable of upsetting her German rival.

Back Bouchard to beat Kerber 2-1 @ 4.57/2
Back Over 20.5 Games in Stosur vs Sharapova @ 1.9210/11
