Back Errani to advance to the next round by dispatching Jankovic.
We're approaching the quarter-finals stage in Paris and Abelson Info discuss which players to back on Monday...
This tournament has seen its fair share of upsets thus far, but there are still some fascinating battles ahead including Sloane Stephens against Simona Halep.
Li Na, Ana Ivanovic and Petra Kvitova are just three of the big names now missing from the bottom half of the draw, and as a result either of these two stars can harbour realistic hopes of going all the way in the French capital.
Halep has been sensational over the past year or so in climbing the rankings to reach the world number four spot, and the 22-year-old is emerging as a real threat on the tour having now picked up seven career titles.
While she has yet to lift a Grand Slam, many feel her time is coming but she will undoubtedly have a tough time in navigating her way past Stephens.
The American hasn't been in the best of form this year, but she is starting to look really good on clay this week and has improved with each match.
Neither star has dropped a set thus far and so something must give, and Stephens will look back on their head-to-head record and gain more confidence.
While Halep did win their only contest on this surface, the victory came two years ago in Barcelona, with Stephens winning both their meetings since.
The 15th seed dominated both matches on hard courts, but this could well be a different story altogether, and Halep should have the all-round game to keep her French Open dream alive.
Elsewhere, Jelena Jankovic will be hoping to tie her head-to-head with Sara Errani, but the Italian is looking sharp and has used her run in Rome prior to this tournament as a springboard to find her rhythm.
Errani beat her opponent en route to making the final in the Italian capital earlier this month, and aside from a small slip-up in the opening round, she has looked in good form since.
Jankovic's run is almost a mirror image of her Italian rival, and the sixth seed will need to be at her very best in order to control the match and avoid letting Errani dictate the tempo and send her running around the court all afternoon.
Errani is in fact the outsider for this clash, so the combative Italian may well be worth an investment to surprise a few.
Meanwhile, Andrea Petkovic should have enough about her game to see off the challenge of Kiki Bertens despite going through some gruelling three-set matches in the last two rounds, while Svetlana Kuznetsova could find life difficult against Lucie Safarova.
The pair have split their previous six meetings, but Kuznetsova's experience could count at this point as she sets her sights on a place in the last eight.
