Belgium will be celebrating a second win on Sunday
Andrew Hughes thinks Belgium will scrape past Russia to take control of Group H and help land a Sunday cross-sport multiple in the process
Bet 1: Back Belgium to beat Russia at 1.9520/21
Belgium were made to work hard by a determined Algerian side in their opener, but they eventually wore the African side down to grab the win, and the tournament's dark horses can pick up another three points on Sunday.
Fabio Capello's Russia qualified for the World Cup in style and have a solid defensive record, but they don't offer much of a threat going forward and they were matched in every department by South Korea in their opening game.
With a winnable game against the Algerians to come, Russia won't be risking too much against the Belgians, who have sufficient attacking options to find a way to unlock a stubborn Russian defence. Back Belgium for the win.
Bet 2: Back St Helens to beat Castleford at 1.331/3
With just seven points covering the top eight, this year's Super League looks wide open. Castleford are fourth, just two points behind St Helens who could go top if they beat Castleford and Leeds fail to beat Widnes.
Saints suffered an unexpected 42-0 reverse against Catalan last time, a result which brought a three-match winning run to an end, and which will give Castleford reason for optimism going into this game.
But the Tigers also lost a little momentum last weekend, going down 46-6 to Wigan and consistency has been a problem for them this season. Saints will be keen to erase the memory of their French experience and they've won their last five against Castleford. Back the home side for victory.
Bet 3: Back Nico Rosberg to win the Austrian Grand Prix at 2.01/1
The Mercedes dominance of the 2014 Formula One season was broken last time in Canada and they suffered a further set-back in qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix, failing to get a driver on the grid for the first time this year.
But Mercedes still have the fastest car, and although Lewis Hamilton will have his work cut out starting from ninth, team mate Nico Rosberg shouldn't have too much problem getting past Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas.
The German hasn't grabbed the headlines but he has been more consistent than Hamilton, which is why he leads the Drivers' Championship, and barring mechanical mishap, he should pick his third Grand Prix of the season on Sunday.
