Two of today's bets run at Windsor
Today's movers come from the meetings at Windsor and Plumpton.
We start at Windsor for our drifter, where Commandingpresence has been very weak in the betting for the 15:30, out to 4.57/2 from an opening price of 3.185/40. This stalwart is having her 72nd start today, having won four races in her career. John Bridger's six-year-old mare ran well on her last start finishing third at Goodwood, however she is now 5lbs above her last winning mark and may struggle against today's opposition, several of which are receiving market support today. This includes Mick Channon's three-year-old Signifer, who was beaten by Commandingpresence at Goodwood but is now 6lb better off. All the market signals are suggesting this one is worth taking on today.
Staying at Windsor for the 16:00 race, where there has been steady support for Aldwick Bay, moving from 6.611/2 in to 5.39/2. This 4yo gelding is looking for his fourth career win, having twice been successful at this course, including once at this distance. Richard Hannon's runner showed a liking for soft ground on his most recent start at this track over two furlongs further than today's trip, finishing second by a neck to Scottish Boogie. At a course that he loves, and on heavy going, Aldwick Bay is bound to be slogging it out at the finish.
Our second positive is running in the 16:10 at Plumpton. Kusadiki has been backed in to 8.07/1 from a high of 14.013/1 for his second start in a handicap. Emma Lavelle's charge has recorded one win previously on heavy ground over 2m 4f at Fontwell last November. This success came after a break and having been given the summer off again this year, the money suggests jockey Dougie Costello will be crossing the line first, just like he did for the yard yesterday on Le Bec.
