Champions League Results: Braga scare United and Barca break Celtic hearts

Manchester United drifted to 4.67/2 after Braga took a shock lead at Old Trafford thanks to striker Alan. The Brazilian was matched at 36.035/1 to open the scoring and he did so with aplomb, powering a second minute header past David De Gea. Eighteen minutes later he was at it again.

The much mocked Greek headed Celtic in to a shock lead after 18 minutes and, although Andreas Iniesta's razor sharp equaliser underlined the gulf in talent between the teams, the Bhoys deserved to be level at the break.

That's how it remained until Jordi Alba's injury-time goal gave Barcelona victory. Neil Lennon was devastated at the final whistle but his side certainly gave bettors something to cheer as the Catalans drifted to 13.012/1 for their win.

Roberto Di Matteo tasted defeat as Chelsea manager for the first time as they lost 2-1 away to Shakhtar Donetsk. The Blues trailed to goals in either half and, although Oscar gave them hope with an 88th minute strike, the hosts were good value for their win. Shakhtar touched 2.6813/8 and Chelsea are out to 19.018/1 to retain the Champions League.

Elsewhere, Valencia eased past BATE Borisov, earning a 3-0 away win, Bayern Munich continued their excellent form with a 1-0 win against Lille in France and Spartak Moscow were backed at 3.259/4 as they beat Benfica 2-1 in a pulsating match. There were two 1-1 draw, as Galatasaray came from a goal down against Cluj and Nordsjaelland held the mighty Juventus. The draw was matched at 5.85/1.
