He had a comeback run here in a flat handicap earlier this month following a near eight month layoff with an injury but never really got into contention and was beaten a long way. In hindsight , he probably wasn't fit enough to do himself justice so it's nice to get him back out again and while he will definitely strip fitter today I'd be happy if he ran into a place from 1lbs out of the handicap. Michael Hussey knows the horse having ridden him before and gets the ride again.
