Against All Odds: Hannover to suffer hangover in Sweden

ge Hareide has his side in better form now

Hannover are odds-on for their trip to Sweden tonight against Helsingborgs in the Europa League but Paul Robinson thinks they could struggle to take all three points.

Helsingborgs have just a single point from their opening pair of matches in this competition. They lost 1-0 away to Levante before being held at home by Dutch side, FC Twente, after conceding two late goals.

It's still all to play for though for the reigning Allsvenskan champions and they are back to form following five straight defeats during August. Since that period, caretaker manager, ge Hareide, has steadied the ship and The Reds have lost just one of their last eight, which was the aforementioned defeat in Spain.

Hannover top Group L with four points thanks to a draw in Holland with FC Twente and an impressive 2-1 win over Levante, where they were reduced to 10 men from the ninth minute. That red card does mean that recipient, Karim Haggui, will be suspended though, and that will weaken an already suspect backline.

Mirko Slomka's Hannover team have conceded 13 goals in eight Bundesliga matches, and they have shipped seven in their last three on the road. Their away form must be a worry for their supporters as it's now no win in four and three defeats in a row.

I can see plenty of goals in this one, but the value appears to be in laying Hannover. Their recent away form doesn't warrant a quote of 1.875/6 and that's why I'm making them my lay of the day.

Recommended Bet
Lay Hannover against Helsingborgs @ 1.875/6
