Against All Odds: Honka's price stinks against KuPS

Hopefully we will Finnish the week off in style

Paul Robinson take a trip to Finland this afternoon as Honka look quite short against a resurgent, KuPS.

Honka are eighth in the table after enduring a miserable run that has seen them go five matches without a victory. Mika Lehkosuo's side finished fourth last year but things haven't clicked this term and they have only 37 points from 30 fixtures.

Their home form hasn't been as bad as their results on the road, but even at Tapiolan Urheilupuisto, it's just one win in five and that was against lowly, JJK. Keeping teams out has been their main problem; four clean sheets all season and only one in the last five.

KuPS are another side who have underperformed this year as they are a long way off 2011's sixth place. Esa Pekonen has managed to run his team into a bit of form at a crucial time though and they have eased any lingering relegation issues in recent weeks.

The Canaries have tasted defeat just the once in the last five, to leaders HJK, and they thrashed second placed, Inter Turku by four goals to one in their last away game.

Astonishingly, Honka have won the last 15 meetings between these two but streaks have to come to an end sometime. Recent form is key here, and at 1.991/1, I have to make Honka my lay of the day.

Recommended Bet
Lay Honka against KuPS @ 1.991/1
