Breeders' Cup: Delzangles outlines BC dreams

Ridasiyna: Will go for the Filly & Mare Turf

Mikel Delzangles will have two runners at the Breeders' Cup meeting at Santa Anita next week.

The Melbourne Cup-winning trainer will be represented by Ridasiyna in the Filly & Mare Turf and Flotilla in the Juvenile Fillies' Turf.

Both earned their spots in America with fine performances at Longchamp on Arc day.

The Aga Khan's Ridasiyna ran out a most impressive winner from Izzi Top in the Prix de l'Opera, taking her career record to four wins from five starts, while Flotilla had no luck in running when a close fourth in the Marcel Boussac.

"Ridasiyna definitely goes for the Breeders' Cup and she will run in the Filly & Mare Turf," said Delzangles.

"She was very impressive in the Opera and she will have a good chance.

"We are also taking Flotilla out there for the Juvenile Fillies' on the turf, she was unlucky in the Marcel Boussac."

Another impressive winner for Delzangles on Arc day was Molly Malone in the Prix du Cadran and her next target is closer to home.

"Molly Malone is likely to run in the Prix Royal Oak on Sunday," said Delzangles.

"Soft ground is very important to her, she showed in the Cadran how good she can be when she gets it."
