Timeform Daily: Monday, Bath 14:20

Monday's Timeform Daily comes from Bath
Timeform provide a runner-by-runner guide to the opening nursery at Bath...
Jebril overcame greenness when making a winning start in the mud at Chepstow (1m) in August. Fair chance there is more to come now given a stiffer test, but initial mark plenty stiff enough.
Felix Fabulla was always doing enough when fending off Stiff Upper Lip in a C&D nursery last month. This more suitable following a below par run back at 1m last time, but unproven on a soft surface.
Stiff Upper Lip relished the stiffer test when just losing out to Felix Fabulla over C&D last month. Wasted no time going one better at Kempton (1m) recently and no reason why he shouldn't make presence felt once more.
Walter White continued his gradual progress when a keeping-on third in a 1m Kempton nursery in August. Handles a soft surface, but questions to answer after folding tamely on first try at 1m last time.
Red Adair got back on track in blinkers when third in a 7f Kempton claimer in September. Eased considerably in the weights returned to handicaps, but much longer trip a worry given his sprinting pedigree.
Just A Pound produced an improved effort, just in front of a next-time-out winner when runner-up in an 8.6f Wolverhampton maiden in August. Likely to stay this far and no forlorn hope if doing so on handicap bow.
Run It Twice produced a much better effort on second try in blinkers when nailed on the line by Knight's Parade in a 1m Chepstow nursery in September. 4 lb higher this time, though, and not bred to stay this far.
Nine Iron showed little to get excited about in all 3 runs in maidens at up to 7f, but this trip more in-keeping with breeding, so expected to fare better now handicapping, having being gelded in the meantime.
Knight's Parade rallied well in blinkers when narrowly getting the better of Run It Twice in a 1m Chepstow nursery in September. Bred to stay this far and likely to remain competitive off revised mark.
Heliconia has not progressed as expected since being given a stiffer test in blinkers in nurseries, merely plodding on when sixth to Stiff Upper Lip at Kempton (1m) last month. Others stronger.
Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Nine Iron
2. Stiff Upper Lip
3. Knight's Parade
Timeform View: Stiff Upper Lip is taken to reverse last month's C&D form with Felix Fabulla on this slower surface and is respected alongside fellow recent winner Knight's Parade, but a chance is taken with Nine Iron, who is bred to relish this stiffer test now going handicapping.
