Football League: Cassidy leading Tranmeres sundance

Jake Cassidy has been in prolific form for the League One leaders
The Football League rests for no one and this Tuesday's fixture list throws up some more great games across League's One and Two...
Scunthorpe v Tranmere, Tuesday 19:45, Match Odds: Scunthorpe 2.8815/8, Tranmere 2.767/4, The Draw 3.39/4
League One's surprise protagonists Tranmere are on a fabulous unbeaten run in 2012/13 and currently sit top of the pile after six wins from their opening nine. Much credit must be given to Ronnie Moore in his third stint as manager for both stabilising the Merseysiders last term and overseeing this blistering start. Next up is a trip to struggling Scunthorpe, who had looked to have repaired some of the damage from a horrendous start by going four unbeaten in the league, only to succumb 2-1 to Portsmouth on Saturday. Moore's visitors had won three on the spin before drawing with Brentford but with goal threats galore such as Jake Cassidy - who has scored four in his last four - they should have too much for the hosts here.
Recommended Bet: Back Tranmere to beat Scunthorpe @ 2.767/4
Notts County v Stevenage, Tuesday 19:45, Match Odds: Notts County 2.1211/10 , Stevenage 3.711/4, The Draw 3.45n/a
Only goal difference separated these two sides last season as Stevenage squeezed Notts County out of the final play-off position despite a late charge by the midland outfit. County will be up for revenge here having started their campaign in fine fashion, losing just the one game in League One from their opening nine. Keith Curle's charges did the double over this plucky Stevenage side in the league last season although they were knocked out of the FA Cup by them at Broadway Hall. The overriding characteristic of all three encounters between these well matched sides was a shortage in goals - all three returning under 2.5 and twice going under the 1.5 mark - expect this one to be a tight affair too.
Recommended Bet: Back under 2.5 goals @ 1.875/6
Rochdale v Bradford, Tuesday 19:45, Match Odds: Rochdale 2.588/5, Bradford 2.942/1 The Draw 3.3512/5
These sides currently occupy the last two play-off positions in League Two, although it's far too early to suggest this will resemble anything like the final table. Rochdale fans will just be happy to have reunited themselves with that winning feeling after a pretty miserable campaign in League One in 2011/12. Both teams have won three of their last four league games, although Bradford were stopped by high-flying Port Vale on Saturday. There is not a great deal to choose in this cross-Pennine dispute but one thing is clear, both sets of players know where the goal is. The Dale have registered at least two goals in each of their last four games with visitors Bradford returning similarly prolific numbers, putting away 11 in their last five in all competitions.
Recommended Bet: Back over 2.5 goals @ 2.0621/20
