Tour Championship Tips: The pick of the first day two-balls

It's all eyes on East Lake for the FedEx Cup finale and Dan Geraghty has five two-ball bets for day one...
Webb Simpson is having a curious time of it, he has struggled with his putting recently, but his swing looked to be in fine fettle at the BMW Championship until this moment. That disastrous lost ball seemed to affect Simpson's game for the duration of the tournament and with the Ryder Cup on the horizon he'll want a good week to banish any bad memories. That's easier said than done and I'll take young outsider John Huh to beat Webb on day one.
Sure, watching Rory McIlroy's recent domination will have hurt Tiger Woods, but I don't think it will have hurt him as some, including Greg Norman, have suggested. Tiger is where he wants to be this week, he's in the FedEx Cup top-five and any of that quintet will win the big cheque with a victory this week. Rory's last two victories will be all but forgotten if Tiger walks away with the US$10 million, and I think that's just what he'll do, beating McIlroy in round one to start things off.
Another early Ryder Cup battle this week features Luke Donald and Matt Kuchar - and the Englishman is a strong fancy for me. Donald has exceptional form around East Lake, he's been second and third each of the two years and while he's not been in the same form as this time last year, Kuchar has struggled even more.
I've followed Robert Garrigus on his journey through the FedEx playoffs thus far, and I'm not bailing out now. One point on the big man see off Bo Van Pelt in round one at a tasty price.
He's been so quiet this year that I'm extremely surprised to say that Ryan Moore has made it to East Lake, however, he's struck form at the right time and I'll take him to beat Rickie Fowler who has had a disappointing season, having failed to make the Ryder Cup team.
