Thistle Bird and Irish History are two to focus on in Newmarket's 13:45
Before Graham Cunningham got too comfy in the Timeform Radio pundit's chair he selected these three horses to consider in our Friday tipping column
Today looks a fair example of a fine day's racing which doesn't necessarily throw up a raft of attractive betting opportunities.
That said, I'll be taking an interest in two horses in Newmarket's 13:45 and one in Haydock's 15:05.
Thistle Bird and Irish History are the pair to focus on in the Newmarket contest.
The former is dead reliable with a great chance on Timeform figures, while the latter just looks overpriced based on two solid efforts in Group 1 company this summer.
Disko Dasko is the one to keep an eye on at Haydock.
Granted, this one involves a fair degree of speculation on testing ground after a lengthy break, but Disko Dasko caught the eye travelling strongly against subsequent winners on her Pontefract debut and her stable have become adept at priming horses to peak at this venue.
Recommended Bets
Back Disko Dasko at 8.415/2 in the 15.05 at Haydock and lay off at 3.02/1 in running
Back Thistle Bird at 4.03/1 in the 13.45 at Newmarket and lay off at 1.68/13 in running
Back Irish History at 12.011/1 in the 13.45 at Newmarket and lay off at 4.03/1 in running
