Racing News: Black Caviar set to return

Black Caviar will race on in 2013.
Australian superstar Black Caviar is set to return to the track early next year, trainer Peter Moody has confirmed...
The six-year-old, rated 136 by Timeform, extended her unbeaten record to 22 races with a battling success in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot on her first trip to Europe.
However, Black Caviar sustained a soft tissue injury during the race and Moody, along with the mare's owners, wanted to see how she recovered before making future plans.
Black Caviar returned to Moody's stables earlier this week and the trainer is happy to start working towards a 2013 campaign.
"We've decided that we'll give her a chance (to race on) and so I've sent her for a spell and she'll come back in later in the year and be given a prep and we'll take it from there," Moody told The Age.
While connections intend to continue Black Caviar's racing career, Moody has stressed they must be satisfied she is back on top form.
"We've got to be happy with her and so if she doesn't come up, then all the owners have lost is one breeding season," he said.
