Capital One Cup: Who are Liverpools new teen terrors?

Brendan Rodgers congratulates Suso after Liverpool's win
Liverpool saw off West Brom in the Capital One Cup with a new wave of young talent. Christian Crowther profiles the fledgling stars...
Brendan Rodgers at last gave Liverpool fans something to cheer on the home front with a 2-1 Capital One Cup win at the Hawthorns as the holders booked themselves a last-16 home tie against Swansea.
In doing so, Rodgers gave Reds fans a real taste of the future as he blooded Liverpool's youngest ever player in a team filled with teenage talent. Here is a quick look at some of the more unfamiliar Liverpool names on show on in the midlands...
Jerome Sinclair: 16-year-old English striker
At just 16 years and six days old, Sinclair became the youngest ever Liverpool player to take the field in competitive action, supplanting teammate Jack Robinson (16 years and 205 days). The forward only moved to Liverpool a year ago after previously attending West Brom's academy and made a ten-minute cameo last night. Sinclair notched eight goals in pre-season for the U-18s and has already scored two this campaign.
Suso: 18-year-old Spanish midfielder
The Spaniard is already in the limelight after coming on against Manchester United and featuring in the Reds' Europa League victory over Young Boys. Signed from Cadiz in 2010, Suso has represented Spain at U18 and U19 level. The attacking midfielder was only brought on for the last ten minutes at West Brom but had a hand in Liverpool's winner.
Andre Wisdom: 19-year-old English defender
In the headlines for his goal against Young Boys, Wisdom looks a real prospect at right back. The Leeds-born defender has already captained England at U19 level and has been part of Liverpool's academy for several years. Wisdom played the full 90 minutes last night and delivered an assured display.
Samed Yesil: 18-year-old German striker
Yesil played 81 minutes at the Hawthorns and was unlucky not to score when a vicious shot was somehow deflected away by Ben Foster. The striker hails from Dusseldorf and spent seven years at giants Bayer Leverkusen, where he continually racked up goals for the youth sides. Yesil has also been part of the Germany set-up and scored three goals at the U17 European Championships in May 2011.
Rodgers' young starlets have now moved in to 8.27/1 to retain the trophy that they won on penalties last season.
Other teams through last night included Arsenal, who took a while to get going against League One Coventry before running out 6-1 winners, and north London rivals Tottenham, who prevailed over a spirited Carlisle side 3-0.
Arsenal are 6.411/2 to end their trophyless run and will play away at Reading, who triumphed 3-2 over QPR.
Spurs booked a date at Carrow Road against a Norwich side which only just scraped past Doncaster 1-0 and Andre Villas-Boas' side are now 8.27/1 for cup glory.
Elsewhere, Manchester United squeezed past Newcastle 2-1 at Old Trafford and are 8.07/1 for the League Cup after setting up the glamour tie of the fourth round away to 6.05/1 favourites Chelsea.
