Aleksandar Kolarov celebrates his goal against Aston Villa
Manchester City should end a tough week with victory at Craven Cottage, but are unlikely to keep a first clean sheet...
Everton v Southampton (Saturday, 15:00)
All five of the goals Everton have conceded have been shipped in the second half
After such a stellar performance against Swansea, David Moyes' Everton side arrived back on terra firma with a thud on Tuesday as Leeds dumped them out of the Capital One Cup. Southampton had no such troubles against opposition from the same league however. Any joy for Saints here will probably coincide with second-half goals as 12 of their 15 this season have arrived after the break.

Fulham v Manchester City (Saturday, 15:00)
The Whites have won just one of their ten Premier League home games against Man City (W1 D5 L4); only against Chelsea (W1 D5 L5) do Fulham have a worse home record
If Roberto Mancini is feeling the heat then this fixture should provide the necessary cooling effect for the Italian given his side's record at Craven Cottage. City are unlikely to have it all their own way however, especially considering they have not kept a clean sheet yet this season. Both teams have scored in this fixture going back nine seasons in the Premier League.

Reading v Newcastle (Saturday, 15:00)
Newcastle have only won one of their five away visits to Reading (W1 D1 L3)
Reading got a huge boost in the Capital One Cup by beating QPR in a real ding-dong battle at Loftus Road. Although the Royals are still winless in the Premier League this season, the confidence gained from beating a team from the top flight should serve as a launchpad to further success. The Magpies are yet to win on the road but their quality should cancel out Reading's willingness.

Aston Villa v West Brom (Sunday, 16:00, Sky Sports 2)
Six of the last eight Premier League meetings between Villa and West Brom have ended with a 2-1 score line, while the other two finished 0-0
Aston Villa probably shocked even themselves in beating Manchester City to advance to the last 16 of the Capital One Cup. Next up is a derby meeting with a West Brom side who started well before being left flummoxed by Liverpool's kids (and Nuri Sahin) in midweek. Villa should have the edge at home considering the Baggies have only won one of their last eight on the road and have kept just two clean sheets in 40 games away from the Hawthorns.
