MLB Tipping Sheet: Oakland to buck the odds in Detroit

Tommy Milone is on the mound for the As
After an unexpected hiatus the BB MLB tipping show is back on the road with these three recommended bets for tonight's action
Oakland Athletics @ Detroit Tigers
ESPN America, 18:00
Oakland's Tommy Milone (13-10, 3.81 ERA) faces Detroit's Anibal Snchez (8-12, 4.02 ERA), with the Tigers looking for a win to sweep this three game series. Milone has won his last two starts, and four of his last five. However, ESPN Stats and Information tells us that Milone has 5.13 ERA on the road this season (2.68 at home) and the Tigers are 16-8 at home against lefty starters this season. Comerica Park is considered to be a pitcher-friendly ballpark though.
Sanchez has had a number of good outings lately, winning his last start in Cleveland.
Oakland follow up this series with three games at Yankee Stadium and four at Rangers Ballpark, so they have to win this to keep up their wild-card hopes.
I'm going to go with Oakland this evening.
Toronto Blue Jays @ NY Yankees
ESPN America, midnight
Following Tuesday's postponement Phil Hughes (15-12, 3.96 ERA) has had his start pushed back a day, and he is taking on Toronto's Aaron Laffey (3-5, 4.55 ERA) in the final game of this three game series.
Hughes has won his last two starts, conceding just two earned runs.
Laffey is without a win since May 8, and in his last start he lasted just 3.2 innings against the Red Sox, allowing three runs and walking three batters.
The Blue Jays are without their suspended shortstop Younes Escobar, and designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion, who missed last night's game, is also uncertain to start.
I'm going to back the Yankees at home this evening.
Cincinatti Reds @ Chicago Cubs
Cincinatti look to sweep the Cubs, as their starting pitcher Johnny Cueto (17-9, 2.92 ERA) takes on the Cub's Jason Berken (0-1, 7.20 ERA) in the final game of this three game series. Dusty Baker, the Reds'
manager, was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat yesterday and is not expected to be at the game.
Cueto has had a terrible September, losing all three starts. He has allowed 14 runs over 15.1 innings. Berken made his first start for the Cubs on September 15, after being designated for assignment by the Baltimore Orioles. He struggled, mainly due to defensive errors, allowing eight runs (two earned) over four innings.
The Reds are within touching distance in the NL Central, while the Cubs sit second bottom at .389. I think Cueto's poor streak has to end sometime, and I'm going with Cincinnati tonight.
Recommended Bets
Oakland Athletics to win at 2.3211/8
New York Yankees to win at 1.422/5
Cincinatti Reds to win at 1.548/15
