Timeform Radio Racing Tips: Go green on Bleu at Ludlow

Our betting day begins at Ludlow
Terry Norman picks one over jumps and one on the Flat in today's Timeform Radio tips
It's a tricky day today to be punting. The flat meeting at Nottingham has an end of season feel to it while the two jumps are unusually run on fast ground, with Towcester nudging towards a genuinely fast surface.
There are some decent Beginners' and novice chases at the two jump cards and the horse that catches the eye most is the Kim Bailey-trained Savant Bleu (16:10 Ludlow), who makes his chase debut in this 2m4f event.
The best of these over hurdles, Savant Bleu was quietly progressive last season and was still travelling well when brought down at the second last on his last start at Market Rasen in May.
He is bred for jumping fences and has been reported to be schooling well. When you have Haar, rated just 107, as your main danger you know it is a moderate race. Andy Turnell's horse also has a low win rate (1-23) and is not the most fluent of jumpers either.
Sunpass (16:30 Nottingham) is hardly the most original of selections, but the more I look at this race the more I wonder that the handicapper has been lenient in allocating John Gosden's colt a mark of just 78.
The son of Pivotal hacked up in a maiden at Epsom - after an absence of five months - proving that cut in the ground and a trip of 10f were ideal. Inexperience could be an ideal in this 16-runner field as is the presence of plenty of front runners.
However, Sunpass could be a level above these and has a perfect draw in one for William Buick to sit handy. He looks a useful prospect.
