17.40 - Only a few arrive in any kind of form in the opening leg on the card so it shouldn't be too tricky. First Fast Now was a good second off this mark over C&D last time and has solid claims, while Perfect Honour has been holding her form well of late and is unlikely to be far away despite her wide draw.

18.10 - Fort Knox and Future Reference are both interesting newcomers from powerful stables, while Keep The Dream is another to be respected after a promising debut last week, but Ferjaan brings some solid maiden form to the table and can put his experience to good use from his low draw.

18.40 - Two-time C&D winner Green Earth hasn't had a good year so far but his latest fourth at Brighton was more encouraging and he could be worth chancing in the hope the return to all-weather sparks him back to life off a good mark. Pastoral Jet often catches the eye and finally had his day in a C&D handicap two weeks ago. A 4 lb rise for that success seems reasonable and has solid claims of making the frame again.

19.10 - Leg four doesn't look as competitive as the numbers suggest and the inclusion of in-form pair Dana's Present and Valdaw should be more than enough to see us through.

19.40 - Our ratings suggest Lizzie Tudor has been let in quite lightly for her nursery bow, and her rate of progress indicates she has even more to offer still. She's up against six other previous winners, however, so Pompeia is also included. Ralph Beckett's filly beat a subsequent winner in a 7f maiden here in August and will relish this extra 1f.

20.10 - Ukrainian won by a wide margin in a soft-ground handicap at Musselburgh three days ago, but there's a chance that this may come too soon so he could be worth taking on for placepot purposes. Spensley has an excellent record around here and looks sure to run his race again, while the unexposed Shestheman can be expected to improve for the step up in trip.
