Dunaden is not ideally drawn in the Caulfield Cup
Jockey Craig Williams is confident Dunaden can overcome his horror barrier draw and win Saturday's Caulfield Cup...
The French winner of last year's Melbourne Cup landed barrier 22 of 22 on Wednesday morning, but Williams said his horse was still a live chance in the $2.5m feature.
"I know I've got the right horse for the race," the champion jockey said.
"I'm not too sure about the barrier.
"It's an awful card but that's what we're dealt with."
Delzangles fleetingly visited Melbourne earlier this week to oversee Dunaden's last serious piece of work ahead of Saturday's race.
Both Delzangles and Williams believes the horse is stronger 12 months after he took the Melbourne spring by storm last year.
