Jamsie Hall
He was a bit unfortunate at Galway, whipping around at the start of the Plate before probably finding the conditions too testing when turned out again a couple of days later.
We dropped him back over hurdles at Perth last time and we were happy with him, as he finished second on ground which, again, was too soft for him. He has run well in a lot of competitive handicap chases this summer and is in very good nick so let's hope for a good showing today.
There's great prize money and if he could get into the places we'd be delighted but, as at Galway and Perth, the ground is against him. Davy Condon will probably take his time early and hope to get involved late but the horse would be an awful lot better on less testing conditions so we're really just hoping for the best.
