Today's Follow The Money movers run at Ayr and Newbury.
We start at Ayr in their 13:50 maiden in which Bahamamay has been weak in the market, moving from 2.47/5 out to 3.613/5. This juvenile was third on debut last month at Beverley when he lost his chance by racing much too keenly. He is entitled to have come on for that, but will need to settle today to have any chance and, with a much more solid candidate in the field, punters feel the selection will play a minor role again today.
In Newbury's 15:05 conditions stakes, Grandeur has been well backed, now in to 2.8415/8 from an earlier 3.3512/5. This three-year-old has enjoyed a good season so far, progressing well and winning a couple of Goodwood handicaps, including one off top weight. Receiving weight all round today, he arrives in good form having finished a close third last month in a Group 3 at Windsor and a repeat of that run will put him thereabouts again this afternoon.
Finally, the 16:00 sprint handicap at Ayr has seen an interesting move for Rylee Mooch. This one is now 20.019/1 from 37.72n/a and was third, winning his group, in this race last year on good to soft ground. He is 5lbs higher today and the ground is a bit of a question mark, but he has won for today's 5lb claimer before and also stays six furlongs which could be important as it is likely to take some getting on the heavy ground at Ayr today.
