Keith Curle has made a hugely impressive start as manager of Notts County
Notts County are at MK Dons this evening for a League One clash and the Betfair market suggests it'll be a fruitless trip, but Keith Curle's men are unbeaten on their travels this season...
Torpedo Moscow chalked up another 0-0 yesterday and as we opposed them, it means it's now three winners out of four for us and we are back on track after a poor week or so.
MK Dons missed out on promotion to the Championship in the Play-Offs last year but they seem to have put that behind them and are up in eighth after half a dozen matches this season. Having conceded a mere three goals, Karl Robinson's defence are on top of their game; even more so at home where they've kept three clean sheets out of three.
The Dons haven't exactly been prolific in front of goal though; just six scored at an average of one per match, however five of them have come at Stadium MK. They haven't faced any of the so called 'big guns' of the league at home yet though, and they did lose four out of their last half dozen at the back end of last season.
Notts County have made a cracking start to their campaign and they find themselves in second place, just one point off top spot. Since Keith Curle took over at the beginning of 2012, the former Manchester City defender has turned the club around; narrowly missing out on the Play-Offs last season and losing just once so far in this.
Away from Meadow Lane, the Magpies are undefeated in three; winning two and drawing one, and if we look further back, County are now unbeaten in 10 on the road. They have scored two goals in each away fixture this season; including at Oldham last time where they were reduced to 10 men after just 22 minutes.
MK Dons are a very good home side, but Notts County are a test for anyone, whether it be home or away. Trading around the 1.9620/21 mark I have to make MK my lay of the day.
