Thierry Henry's New York have struggled lately
Andrew Hughes thinks New England Revolution will be too strong for the struggling New York Red Bulls and will help land a Sunday cross-sport multiple.
Bet 1: Back New England to beat New York at 1.855/6
This weekend sees the last round of matches in the MLS before the World Cup break and current Eastern Conference leaders New England can sign off with a win over their fiercest rivals from New York.
New England suffered a set back last time when losing 2-0 to Montreal, but prior to that, they had gone seven games unbeaten, scoring 19 goals in the process, and have an eight point gap over Sunday's opponents.
New York are just one point outside a play-off spot and a win could see them climb to fourth in the table, but despite the goals of Bradley Wright-Philips, they are struggling for form, having won just one of their last five. Back the home team to prevail.
Bet 2: Back Glamorgan to beat Gloucestershire at 1.910/11
Neither of these sides have ever won the English domestic Twenty20 tournament and have managed just one quarter-final appearance between them in the last five years, but Glamorgan have shown the better form this year and can win this.
Led by Darren Sammy, one of the best Twenty20 captains around, and boosted by the runs of Jacques Rudolph, they have thrived so far in a tough South Division, beating Finals Day regulars Hampshire, Sussex and Somerset.
By contrast, Gloucestershire have been hit and miss in their four games so far and overseas signing Michael Klinger has yet to fire. Glamorgan have the momentum and can be backed to win at Bristol
Bet 3: Back Djokovic to beat Nadal at 2.01/1
Sunday's French Open Final promises to be an engrossing struggle. The World Number One spot is up for grabs, Rafael Nadal is going for his ninth title at Roland Garros and Novak Djokovic is trying to complete a career Grand Slam.
Nadal's reputation on clay means he is slight favourite going into this game, and for a long time he had the edge over the Serb on this surface. But Djokovic's game has evolved and has won four of his last eight meetings with Nadal on clay.
More significantly, Djokovic has won the tactical battle in their last four meetings, including victories in Miami and Rome this year, and he has a fitness edge over the Spaniard. Back Djokovic to earn a famous win.
