Timeform Daily: Saturday, York 15:50

Body And Soul is fancied to score at York.

Timeform guide you through the field for an excellent sprint handicap for three-year-olds at York on Saturday...

Hasopop won maiden at Yarmouth and minor event at Newmarket last year, and thriving this time around. Latest third better than it looks given way race panned out and should go well once more.

Polski Max signed off 2-y-o campaign with battling success in C&D nursery, and improved again to win handicap at Pontefract and 5f minor event at Hamilton this year. Return to 6f will suit.

Ahern was an impressive winner on debut at Musselburgh 12 months ago and not beaten far in Norfolk Stakes/July Stakes next twice. Lacklustre effort on reappearance, though, and blinkers reached for now.

Heavy Metal won Richmond Stakes in a productive 2-y-o campaign, but form this year suggests the handicapper has his measure for now. Can race lazily and opposable once more.

Chilworth Icon won Woodcote Stakes at Epsom and Group 3 in Milan last year before having his limitations exposed in stronger company. Not disgraced when third behind Hasopop last time, but even more needed here.

Lucky Beggar won Windsor maiden and Thirsk nursery over 5f at 2 yrs. Solid efforts all starts this year, but combination of this trip and ground enough to make him opposable in a hot race like this.

Cosmic Chatter won 5-runner minor event at Musselburgh in August and back to that level when good third here last month. Should make a bold bid on handicap debut and remains capable of better.

Odooj was a ready winner of 6f Chester maiden last May and useful form in defeat since, including in Gimcrack and listed race over C&D, but well held on return and mark looks too stiff. Tried in blinkers now.

No Jet Lag won maiden at Lingfield and 3-runner minor event at Redcar last summer. Well held on reappearance, however, and even best form doesn't look quite good enough. Hood tried for the first time.

Boy And Soul scored on 4 of her 6 starts at 2 yrs, including Newbury Super Sprint and Redcar 2-y-o Trophy. Looked as though the run would bring her on at Ripon last month and on a competitive mark. Interesting.

Heaven's Guest was well backed and improved when winning 6f Hamilton handicap last month and followed up at Epsom (7f) 2 weeks later. Another 7 lb higher now, but drop back in trip won't be a problem.

Moviesta is going the right way, better for return when winning 6f handicap at Doncaster in April before following up in 5f event here last month. Should continue to give good account.

Mary's Daughter won 5f Leicester maiden and warm C&D nursery (at 33/1) at 2 yrs. Hasn't fired so far this season, though, and stable may have stronger claims elsewhere.

Lewisham has not progressed since finishing second in July Stakes for Noel Quinlan last summer, though belatedly off the mark for new yard at Kempton last time and not impossible this scenario will suit.

Graphic Guest was the winner of small-field 5f events at Ascot and Windsor at 2 yrs. Ran well in defeat on first 2 runs this year, but not at best last time and others more persuasive.

Vincentti finished runner-up twice before landing maiden/nursery at Ffos Las. Made highly encouraging reappearance when nose second to Moviesta here (5f) last month and return to 6f should be in his favour.

Rivellino has notched both of his wins on the AW, but hasn't enjoyed the rub of the green in a couple of big-field handicaps on turf and still has a big day in him. One to consider.

Barracuda Boy improved to win 5f nurseries at Bath and Haydock last summer and another step forward when third at Sandown on reappearance, but this is going to demand even more.

Storm Moon was successful first 2 starts last April over 5f. Took advantage of drop in weights when winning at Kempton last month, but ran poorly from plum draw at Chester last time.

Hairy Rocket was a useful juvenile for Richard Hannon in 2012, winning twice and third in the Queen Mary. Back to form for new yard when close fourth at Leicester last time, but this is even more demanding.

Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Body And Soul
2. Lewisham
3. Rivellino

Timeform Verdict: Body And Soul was a useful 2-y-o and she did enough on her reappearance to suggest she retains all her ability. These conditions hold no terrors and she is fancied to get the better of Lewisham and Rivellino in a cracking handicap.
