Thursday's bets come from Leopardstown
Timeform pick out three bets from Leopardstown on Thursday...
In the mile handicap at 18:45, Zalty wasted no time atoning for his low-key reappearance when touched off in a Naas handicap recently and looks sure to go well if his stamina holds out, but Fairyhouse maiden winner General Brook is open to further improvement now upped in trip on his handicap bow, and may prove the best option. Angela's Dream, Morning With Ivan and Queen Of The Sand are others with claims.
Just 35 minutes later, the listed Glencairn Stakes over the same trip is run. Derby eighth Flying The Flag was likely flattered by his proximity to superior rivals at Epsom, but this represents a significant drop in grade, and he can make the most of it, bearing in mind he's been competitive in other Group 1s. Along Came Casey is perhaps the chief threat on reappearance.
Finally, at 20:30 House Limit and Little Arrows are both very solid in this 10-furlong handicap but it may be worth siding instead with Welsh Nayber, who put up solid placed efforts either side of his Lingfield (1m) win last July, given the level he's achieved over hurdles for this yard.
