Burren Trail shaped nicely behind pattern-class horses last term and can register success in the opening one-mile maiden at 17:45. A well-bred filly, Burren Trail is a sister to a Grade 3 winner in America and she showed some promise herself in two starts as a juvenile, travelling as well as anything when finishing sixth to Snow Queen at the Curragh. She remains open to plenty of improvement and has been found a nice opportunity on her return.

In the following race (18:20) the Tommy Stack-trained Main Straits can progress from his debut effort which came in a good-looking Leopardstown maiden and open his account at the second time of asking. Main Straits' inexperience at Leopardstown was evident as he could make little impression on the main protagonists, looking green under pressure and beating only two of his nine rivals home. However, the form of that contest has been advertised in spectacular style by the victory of War Command in the Coventry Stakes and this race looks like a significantly easier task for Main Straits.

We have a bit of a wait until our final SmartPlay as we side with the Willie Mullins-trained Drive Time in the concluding two-mile event at 21:00. Drive Time hasn't been seen for a while - his latest start being a comfortable hurdling success at Listowel in September - but he sets the clear standard here and should take plenty of beating if operating at the peak of his powers on his return. Extremely lightly raced for an eight-year-old, Drive Time boasts an enviable strike rate and can further enhance his impressive record by winning this evening.
