Follow The Money: Time for Moth to fly home in the Oaks

Epsom is the venue for two of today's FTM selections

Today's Follow The Money takes us from the meeting at Catterick over to Epsom Downs for the Start of the Derby weekend and the Oaks...

Our first selection comes in the 13:45 opener at Catterick where Lord Clyde has seen a drift from 2.111/10 out to 3.185/40 It's hard to contest a Richard Fahey two-year-old in his current form but with the market shifting to the highly rated Race Hunter who comes from an in-form yard that can ready a newcomer the stage is set for this filly to shine first time out.

We head over to Epsom Downs for our first back of the day in the 14:45 Diomed Stakes. Producer is four from four at Epsom and has been back in to 4.57/2 from 5.49/2 and looked better than ever when winning a listed race at Leicester last month. If he can stay the distance we expect him to enhance his fine course record.

We save the best till last for our final pick of the day in the 16:00 Epsom Oaks. Moth has been backed in to 4.57/2 from 5.04/1 with the form of last year well behind her she ran out an impressive winner in maiden at Curragh in April and looked better than the bare result of her 3rd placed finish in the 1000 Guineas earlier this month. Bred to relish this trip we expect her to claim a fifth Investec Oaks win for trainer Aiden O'Brien.
