Fear not, Ruby is not allowed to enter the competition!
Betfair Ambassador Paul Nicholls, trainer of the great Kauto Star, has been looking through your entries as the search for the legendary chaser's biggest fan continues. And Paul is very happy with what he's seen so far...
Now, I am obviously a very happily-married man.
But anyone who has read my autobiography will know that I have had my "moments" with the fairer sex down the years.
Haven't we all.
But I haven't heard of any man mistaking his wife or partner for a horse in the bedroom. Until now.
So I did laugh when I saw that one of the entries in Haydock Park and Betfair's "Search For Kauto Star's Biggest Fan" was claiming that title after "I called my wife Kauto Star in bed by accident. He had just won earlier in the day and I had a few drinks on the back of it, and, well, I can elaborate more if needed...."
Please do, Jason. You have until noon next Wednesday to enlighten us further.
I would be very interested to hear if you ate up alright and turned out sound the next morning....
To be more serious, there have been some terrific entries already, not least a woman called Linda who has done 20+ paintings of Kauto Star, and has raised over 20,000 for charity after selling them on Ebay. In fact, I think Ruby and I have signed some of those and the proceeds have gone to Autism and Bob Champion's Cancer Trust charities.
But there have been amusing ones, too.
There have been loads of entries of women with Kauto tattoos - but unfortunately all in much too conservative areas. And I don't mean the Home Counties.
A woman called Michelle themed her wedding around Kauto Star - the entire wedding from the looks of it, even down to Kauto-coloured cufflinks and a purple, yellow and green garter. Not sure how she got away with that - or if she is still married.
And I also had a chuckle on reading someone's clutch went early into their journey from Yorkshire to Kempton, and they had to complete most of the trip in third gear such was their commitment to get to see the horse.
And someone from Scotland actually re-named his business "Kauto Couriers" after the great horse.
Anyway, keep the entries coming in. I am sure Team Ditcheat will be asked who their idea of who should be the winner.
To enter, either tweet @BetfairRacing using the #KingKauto hashtag, or simply email the team at the address below and explain why you deserve to be crowned Kauto Star's Biggest Fan.
