Jonno Turner backs two Derbyshire sides to deliver the goods tonight.

We're off to Derbyshire for our first pick of the day, and Nigel Clough's Derby County side are looking to maintain their excellent recent home form as they welcome Barnsley to Pride Park.

The hosts will be buoyed by their impressive 4-1 victory over Blackpool at the weekend - and the Rams supremo will now be desperate for his side to build on that victory, with another three points here.

It was the manner of that weekend win which will really have pleased Clough, as the home side outclassed their managerless opponents.

And that makes just one loss in seven outings on their own patch for County, who have smashed 16 goals in those games - so it's clear that the Rams do have the ability to punish sides on the attack.

Visitors Barnsley go into this one having lost their last two consecutive outings - and boss Keith Hill sees his side go into this game just two places outside of the relegation zone, and in real danger of being sucked into the bottom four.

The Tykes have struggled for consistency all year long, and have not put back to back wins together since the season kicked off back in August.

And six losses from eight games away from Oakwell indicates that the South Yorkshire side could struggle as they make the relatively short trip to Derby, and 15 goals conceded in that time suggests that their travel sickness is showing no signs of abating.

The away side have failed to win in their last three games against sides placed in the top half of the Championship - and I think that their hosts will have too much for them in this one, too.

We're off to West Yorkshire for our next tip - and Bradford City host Chesterfield at Valley Parade, looking to cement their place in the League Two play-off places.

The Bantams have enjoyed a decent start to the new season under boss Phil Parkinson, and have complemented some impressive performances in the league with a nice little cup run too.

But just one win from their last three home games will have the Bradford faithful desperate to record another victory on their own patch here - particularly as failure to do so could see them slip out of the top six, and as far down the table as tenth place.

Much has been made of the talent of Nahki Wells for the home side - and he will be looking to regain his place following his rest against Northamption in the FA Cup at the weekend, but just one clean sheet in their last half a dozen in front of their own fans suggests to me that the hosts have issues at the back, and the Spireites will be looking to take advantage of that this evening.

The visitors welcomed new boss Paul Cook from Accrington Stanley last week, and he got off to a flying start with a 6-1 thrashing of League One Hartlepool at the Proact Stadium on Saturday.

There is a buzz around the North Derbyshire town at the moment, and the appointment of the new supremo has seen several players who looked to be out in the cold just a couple of weeks ago come back into the fold for the away side.

That means that Cook has an enhanced complement of fit players to choose from - although he has indicated that he will stick with a winning side here.

The Spireites have had mixed fortunes this season. Some impressive results on the road including wins at Aldershot and Exeter, and draws at Gillingham and York, has shown that the away side have the quality to mix it with the big boys in this league, but unforgivable defeats to the likes of bottom side Barnet (no disrespect to them) at home have hit the visitors league position hard.

For all their defensive troubles over the last couple of weeks, three clean sheets from four away from home suggests that the Blues have the ability to hold out their hosts - and with the momentum from that humiliation of Hartlepool on Saturday, I think they're worth a back here, at cracking odds.

Bet 2: Chesterfield (AWAY) @ 3.8
