Martin Palermo has been touted as a future Boca Juniors manager
There's nothing more exciting that the first day of the Premier League season...apart from Velez v Arsenal over in Argentina tonight as Paul Robinson is predicting a goal-fest.
Velez Sarsfield v Arsenal de Sarandi

Velez have retained faith in manager, Jos Oscar Flores, despite only finishing sixth in last year's Torneo Final. They lost seven times during that 19 game semester and that is something that they will be keen to address this term.
The reason they didn't finish higher up the table is the fact that they conceded 26 goals. That was more than 16 of the 19 other teams and it led to their matches averaging 3.16 goals per 90 minutes. Admittedly 'El Fortn' have lost top scorer, Mauro Zrate, to West Ham but they've retained the services of Lucas Pratto and he netted 12 times over the entire 38 game campaign.
The Buenos Aires based club may have begun this campaign with a low-scoring 1-0 victory at Tigre but it's interesting to note that the man who scored was former Arsenal player, Milton Caraglio, and he will be pushing for a start against his old employer.
Arsenal had a disappointing time of things in domestic action last year as they opted to concentrate on the Copa Libertadores. Things didn't pan out in either competition though as they finished fourth from bottom in the Torneo Final and exited the Libertadores at the quarter-final stage to eventual finalists, Nacional Asuncion.
Former Argentina striker - and Championship Manager legend - Martin Palermo was appointed manager back in April and results have improved since his arrival. They started this season with a 2-1 victory over Estudiantes and that scoreline means that their last three matches in all competitions have gone over 2.5 goals.
Chasing goals in this league will send you insane but there are times when you can pick your spot and achieve a profit. I think this could be one of those occasions, which is why, with under 2.5 goals trading at around the 1.695/7 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
