Timeform Radio Tips: Cavalieri to lead the charge

On the face of it, Special Meaning has very strong claims in Ripon's 15:00, but there are concerns about whether she'll be as effective on much firmer ground than when winning at Leicester last week. This is a quick turnaround for Mark Johnston's filly, too, while Order of Service and Noble Bull are expected to ensure the favourite doesn't get her own way in front, and I'm hoping that trio set the race up for Cavalieri and Shearian. The first-named is making his handicap debut and I expect will come into his own now upped in trip, while Shearian is a reliable sort who has won over C&D and will be suited by how I foresee the race developing. I recommend backing the pair of them. 

There are no fancy prices about Thouwra in the second division of the 3-y-o maiden at Lingfield (5:15) but I think he'll be very hard to beat and is worth backing at any prices odds-against. He has easily the best form on offer in this field, having contested some hot races, and it's easy to pick holes in the opposition; second-favourite She's Late has looked nothing out of the ordinary in two runs so far and also hinted at temperament, Bedouin Invader's form is weak and Estifzaaz has stamina doubts over this trip.
