Lottie Dod wouldn't need to match the pick of her 2-y-o form to win a maiden of this nature, and rates a confident selection. The three-year-old failed to get her head in front at 2 yrs but invariably kept good company, finishing third in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh and twice in the frame in listed contests, so seems sure to go well here.

Last year's Irish Guineas second and third Foxtrot Romeo and Reply are the 2 against the field, with the first mentioned marginally preferred. The four-year-old ought to have come on for Curragh return for new yard and is interesting now dropped in grade with headgear in place for the first time. 

A tasty listed race with the 2 well-bred Ballydoyle newcomers adding extra spice. The betting should be informative as to where they stand but the vote goes to British raider Sandiva who made a highly impressive winning debut at Nottingham.
