Honourable Ruler is fancied to score over hurdles.
Timeform have three bets lined up for this evening's Irish action...
The 18:05 is a competitive sprint handicap, and any number could be given a chance. The verdict goes to the unexposed Abstraction who caught the eye at times last season and made a pleasing seasonal reappearance. The three-year-old was progressive in 3 maidens last term, showing form verging on useful when making all at Dundalk final start. Good dead heat for fourth on seasonal reappearance at Naas, is sure to improve and remains unexposed.
A number of these could have decent futures in handicaps but the very interesting one is newcomer Feile Bride (18:40) who represents powerful connections and is still in next month's Irish Oaks. The filly, the first foal of a dam that was a winner at up to a mile and a half, has been given plenty of time by her shrewd handler, wears cheekpieces on debut, and it would come as a surprise were she not to be involved at the finish.
Useful Flat performer Honourable Emperor (19:45) has had a break since last seen in February and might be worth chancing to step up on his previous efforts over hurdles now faced with less testing conditions.
