Timeform Daily: Wednesday, Haydock 15:50

Haydock plays host to racing on Wednesday.

Timeform assess the field for a decent handicap at Haydock on Wednesday...

Wannabe King is not the easiest to predict but scored twice last year and has run well in defeat twice at Thirsk this term.

Dubai Dynamo got back to winning ways at Thirsk (7f) and remained in form since, better than result at Ripon last week.

The Rectifier is a front runner who made a winning return at Kempton last year. Mainly not so good in the meantime, but record fresh reads well, and been given a chance by the handicapper.

Dubai Hills continued excellent record at Southwell with another couple of wins there in March. Good efforts on turf of late, in front of Dubai Dynamo over C&D latest, and respected.

Hit The Jackpot won 8.5f Galway maiden in July 2011 for Dermot Weld. Not returned in much form for new yard, but dropping in the weights all the while and down in grade now.

Discression won twice over 7f at Newcastle last August. Good effort at Musselburgh and excuses over C&D since, but leaves impression 7f is probably his best trip.

Toga Tiger has notched up 2 hat-tricks around 7f/1m in the last 12 months. Mark 22 lb higher than for last success on turf, though, and never landed a blow at Ascot last month.

Lord Of The Dance is a five-time polytrack winner who also scored over C&D in April. Little impact from career-high mark in 2 runs since, though.

Party Royal has generally held form at 2 yrs, winning 6f Ayr maiden early on. Failed to settle on return at Musselburgh and looks only averagely treated.

Jubilee Games won 5f Musselburgh maiden and followed up in 6f minor event at Newcastle at 2 yrs. Signed off with a couple of good efforts in nurseries and could have more to offer this term having been gelded.

Timeform 1-2-3:
1. Dubai Hills
2. The Rectifier
3. Dubai Dynamo

Timeform Verdict: Dubai Hills is a course winner and gets the vote having run a blinder in a warmer race over C&D last month. The Rectifier and Dubai Dynamo are others to consider.
