Queen's Club Betting: Trust in Hewitt to get the better of Del Potro

Can Lleyton Hewitt continue his good form at Queen's Club?

Tennis expert Sean Calvert has been in fine form this week with his selections at Queen's Club and he's backing Aussie veteran Lleyton Hewitt to continue his run at the Aegon Championships on Friday...

It was another profitable day on the grass courts of Queen's Club on Thursday and we even had a little bit of sunshine to boot.

The day began in fine style when Nicolas Mahut did enough against Andy Murray to earn my fifth straight winner of the grass season before a nervy start from Dan Evans against Juan Martin Del Potro put a small dent in the profits.

Benjamin Becker was on hand to cancel that out though when the German eased past Alex Dolgopolov in straight sets for a nice odds-against success.

Friday sees the quarter finals of the 2013 Aegon Championships take place and I have to pick out Lleyton Hewitt as potentially the best value of the day against Del Potro.

As I said yesterday (and the day before) Delpo is lay material on a greasy grass court and he's only here at all thanks to a Xavier Malisse choke and a Dan Evans no-show and Hewitt has the grass court nous to really make the big man look awkward.

Hewitt took down Delpo in their only grass court meeting so far, which was at Wimbledon back in 2009 and the Argentine was a similar price of around 1.4840/85 that day too.

The veteran Aussie is fit and enjoying his tennis right now and he'll relish this challenge of taking on one the game's current top stars on a decent stage at Queen's Club, where he's been so successful in the past.

Odds of around 3.02/1 are too tempting to pass up on a man who knows his way around a grass court as much as Hewitt against an opponent who has never done well on these greasy courts and I'm on the Aussie in this one.

Benji Becker has done well for me this week, but surely Murray will prove too classy for the German in their first career meeting.

Becker has been excellent on serve this week and these courts do suit his big serving, big hitting game, but Murray should be savvy enough to defuse the veteran and I'd expect Andy to come through relatively comfortably in that one.
