In a competitive race the suggestion is to lay current favourite Bartack who has drifted steadily this morning from 2.01/1 out to the currently available 2.962/1. First time blinkers are tried today and all though having gone close on his previous two outings the strength of the field suggests at least one will be too good for him. Caramack being the most likely danger with solid maiden form of placing in six of his seven outings.

Next to Ffos Las and 16:00 3m Handicap Chase. Selection Flanagan has been heavily backed this morning from 7.31n/a in to 5.24/1 despite only finishing 6th last time out over course and distance. He would have been considerably closer that day if it wasn't not for a number of untimely mistakes and was chasing the leaders until a bad mistake at the 8th.

Lastly to Thirsk and the 18:00 7f sprint handicap. Selection Cross The Boss has been supported in from 4.77/2 to 2.9215/8. Coming out of a plum draw in stall 4 the David O'Mera trained bay gelding is not the most consistent of runners having finished 11th of 15 last time out at Newcastle having been the 11/4 market leader.
