Premier League Tips: Bets for the weekend's non-televised matches

Cisse can fire Rangers to their first win of the season at Stoke this weekend.

Armed with the Opta stats and his vast betting knowledge, Jaymes Monte has picked out his best bets from the weekend's non-televised Premier League matches...

Arsenal 1.584/7 v Fulham 7.06/1; The Draw 4.47/2
Despite Arsenal's shaky form this is a fixture that the Gunners will be looking forward to. Not once in their history have Fulham managed to beat Arsenal on their own patch, losing 22 and drawing four of the 26 north London meetings between the teams.

Statistically speaking we simply have to back the home team at odds of 1.584/7 for all three points.

Everton 1.511/2 v Sunderland 8.615/2; The Draw 4.47/2
As bad as Fulham's record away to Arsenal's is, Sunderland's is equally atrocious at any venue against Everton. The Toffees have won 11 and lost none of their last 15 Premier League games against the Black Cats.

Sunderland are enduring a desperate problem creating chances this season, with only one team (Fortuna Dusseldorf) in Europe's top five leagues having fewer shots on goal than Sunderland's miserly 78.

As with the Arsenal game, it's impossible to look past the home side given the stats at hand.

Reading 2.3611/8 v Norwich 3.3512/5; The Draw 3.55/2
Following a hard-fought draw at Loftus Road last week where they bounced back admirably from that midweek defeat to Arsenal, Reading remain winless and now four points adrift of safety.

This now becomes a must-win game for Brian McDermott's side, and they can draw strength from the knowledge that they have won two and lost none of their last three home games against the Canaries.

Norwich have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last 38 away games in the Premier League, the longest ever such run on the road in the competition. It is 1.241/4 that that unwanted record is extended to 39 games, and we can get 1.910/11 on Over 2.5 goals.

Southampton 2.447/5 v Swansea 3.052/1; The Draw 3.65n/a
Southampton may boast a Premier League win in comparison to fellow promoted side Reading, but they are bottom of the league having picked up only one other point all season.

A leaky defence is the route of their problems having gone 19 games in the top-flight without a clean sheet, conceding 50 goals in this run. Over 2.5 goals is a 1.784/5 shot.

Stoke 1.9310/11 v QPR 4.94/1; The Draw 3.55n/a
QPR complete the bottom three as they go to the Britannia in search of their first win of the campaign. The R's are without a win in 18 top-flight away games, losing 15 of them, but their last away win was at Stoke.

In fact, they won both Premier League meetings with Stoke last season by a single-goal margin. It is a 6.25/1 shot that the visitors win by one goal this weekend, but given the proximity of those odds to the price on a straight-up QPR win, it makes sense to stick to the Match Odds market.

Wigan 2.3811/8 v West Brom 3.39/4; The Draw 3.55/2
West Brom's best ever start to a Premier League campaign sees the Baggies scaling the heady heights of fifth position in the table after more than a quarter of the season.

However, Steve Clarke's men have taken 15 of their 17 Premier League points this season on home soil and are yet to register an away win this term.

Wigan have won their last two, but have only once won three consecutive games since January 2009, so we'll plump for the draw here at odds of 3.55/2.

Newcastle 2.0621/20 v West Ham 4.03/1; The Draw 3.613/5
Both Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan will make an emotional return to St James' Park this weekend. Both players have played in this fixture twice previously, each finding the back of the net twice, but wearing the black and white of Newcastle.

Carroll is a 3.211/5 chance to score against his former club and Nolan is priced at odds of 4.03/1 in the same market.

Sam Allardyce will also be making a return to Tyneside but isn't expected to receive the same warm welcome as two of his star players. The former Newcastle boss has won his last four matches as a Premier League coach against the Geordies, including the two since he was sacked. It is 4.03/1 for an away win this Sunday.

Recommended Bets:
Back Over 2.5 goals @ 1.910/11 in Reading v Norwich
Back QPR to beat Stoke @ 4.94/1
Back Over 2.5 goals @ 1.784/5 in Southampton v Swansea
