Premier League Results: Fingers burnt as Gunners are pegged back

Olivier Giroud nods Arsenal in front during today's six-goal thriller

Arsenal and Fulham served up a six-goal thriller whilst Everton came from behind to climb into the top four. Mike Norman brings us all the In-Play odds from this afternoon's Premier League action...

The game of the day in the Premier League was undoubtedly witnessed at the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal let slip a two goal lead and missed a last minute penalty on an afternoon of high drama.

Arsene Wenger's men led early through 7.06/1 First Goalscorer shot Olivier Giroud before Lukas Podolski put the home side 2-0 up, prompting over 10k to be matched on the Gunners at 1.011/100 in the Half Time market.

But back came Fulham, first through Dimitar Berbatov and then through Alex Kacaniklic five minutes before the interval. Both the Half Time Draw and 2-2 HT Score options were matched at 100.099/1 In-Play.

The second half was just as open, with first Fulham taking the lead through Berbatov before Giroud got his second of the game to level matters up once more. Arsenal were given a controversial last minute penalty but Mikel Arteta saw his shot superbly saved by Mark Schwartzer.

The 3-3 Correct Score was matched at 95.094/1 with the Draw being matched at 21.020/1, and incredibly, over 220k was matched on the home side at just 1.071/14 when they led 2-0.

Elsewhere Everton were backed at a high of 9.617/2 as they came from a goal down to beat Sunderland 2-1 at Goodison Park. Adam Johnson - matched at 29.028/1 in the First Goalscorer market - gave the Black Cats the lead on the stroke of half time but second half goals from Marouane Fellaini and Nikica Jelavic won the points for the Toffees.

West Brom's magnificent start to the season continued with a 1-2 win at Wigan (the win matched at 4.1n/a); the highlight of that game being the 32.031/1 that the Correct Score was matched at, whilst Stoke (2.6813/8) beat QPR by a single goal; Charlie Adam - backed at 23.022/1 to score first - with the only goal of the game.

In the afternoon's other games Reading and Norwich played out a dire 0-0 draw, whilst Southampton could manage just a 1-1 draw at home to Swansea - Saints' scorer Morgan Schneiderlin being matched at a massive 65.064/1 to notch first.

At the bottom of the table Southampton and QPR remain in relegation trouble and can be backed at 1.625/8 and 2.3411/8 respectively for the drop, whilst Everton's win moved them into the top four - a position for which they can be backed at 4.47/2 to be in come the end of the season.
